The cultural offerings in French in public libraries have been little studied, even though they represent an important aspect of the visibility of Francophone literature. Furthermore, with the advent of digital technology, the discoverability of French-language content is a challenge for the book industry in Quebec and Canada. This project aims, on the one hand, to produce an overview of the availability of French-language books in public libraries in French-speaking Canada. On the other hand, it will reflect on the strategies at work and their contribution to the artistic and cultural vitality of Francophone minority communities.
