New issue of Nouvelles perspectives en sciences sociales sur les arts et les médias [New Social Scientific Perspectives on Arts and Media] co-led by Anne Robineau - June 2013

Robineau, Anne, Valenti, Jean and Martin Geoffroy (dir.) (2013), “Identity representations and cultural expressions of the Canadian Francophonie through its artistic and media practices”, Nouvelles perspectives en sciences sociales [New Social Scientific Perspectives], vol. 8, issue 2.

This thematic issue brings together texts dealing with different forms of Francophone identity media coverage found in media and artistic practices.  The authors use a critical approach to identity building and renewal.  Throughout their respective research topics, they analyze legitimisation, exclusion and inclusion processes within a constantly changing common space that is the symbolic universe of arts and media.
