Éric Forgues named new Executive Director of the Canadian Institute for Research on Linguistic Minorities - May 2012


Research on Linguistic Minorities’ Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Éric Forgues as the Institute’s new Executive Director.  He will take up his duties on July 1st, 2012.

Mr. Forgues has held the position of Assistant Director and Researcher at the Institute since 2003.  He has conducted various research studies on minority language communities, mainly pertaining to governance, community development, migration and health services. 

He says he is very pleased at his appointment.  “It’s an honor to have been selected by the Board of Directors and I enthusiastically look forward to my new duties.”
