Abstract
This paper presents the results of a research project conducted with nine community development agents involved in the implementation of community projects with francophone minority communities in the Champlain region, Ontario. The results demonstrate that francophone communities have to deal with issues that are specific to their realities, such as access to the labour market and community services in their language as well as the adaptation of francophone social and health agencies governance to the new realities of the francophone community. These issues directly affect the practice of community development agents working with francophone communities.
