Abstract
This quantitative survey of public servants’ attitudes and perceptions of bilingualism used telephones lists and the Treasury Board Position and Classification Information System to establish a profile of the attitudes and levels of acceptance, satisfaction, and knowledge of official languages policies, correlations of knowledge of and support for policies, and benchmarks for monitoring progress. It resulted in three lines of recommendations.
