Abstract
This document, released by the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages in April 2002, puts forward specific measures that the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade can take to ensure the equal status of English and French on Web sites of international character. These Web sites include non-governmental organizations and international organizations in which Canada is a full participant. It also examines departmental policy in this area and how it has been managed, and presents a detailed linguistic profile of relevant Web sites.
