Abstract
This follow-up report to a 2004 study examines bilingual services offered by commercial tenants of buildings owned by the National Capital Commission, Public Works and Government Services Canada, and Canadian Heritage in the National Capital Region. The report assesses the extent to which the study recommendations were implemented. Includes the results of spot checks for in-person and telephone services, signage, menus, promotional material, and Web sites, plus new recommendations on language requirements in leases and promoting bilingualism.
