Abstract
The purpose of my Grounded Theory-based research is twofold. First, I have researched this question: What are the learning preferences, attitudes and backgrounds of New Brunswick-Acadians? Second, drawing on this research, I have created a prescriptive Instructional Design theory, for use in developing instruction for adults of New Brunswick-Acadian culture that will improve the delivery of learning instruction to people of that culture. I am not trying to develop cultural stereotypes or to deny individual differences but to further knowledge in the area of multicultural learning environments.
