Ramona Blinn
Research Assistant
Ramona joined the Institute’s team in 2025 as part of the project on the experiences of French‑speaking patients in the health care systems in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in French and English (2022) and a master’s degree in Francophone cultures and spaces (2025) from Université Sainte-Anne. Her master’s thesis, Parler la santé, presents how speakers of Acadian French in Par-en-haut and Par-en-bas, in southwestern Nova Scotia, talk about health and experience it on a daily basis. As a researcher-consultant in linguistics and community well-being, as well as a multidisciplinary artist, Ramona is involved in creative initiatives promoting well-being, language, and storytelling on these topics.
