Audrey Gagnon
Audrey Gagnon is an interdisciplinary feminist activist and researcher. She is currently the provincial coordinator of the New Brunswick Common Front for Social Justice. As part of her master's degree in literature, she is conducting her own interdisciplinary research on the poetry of women and gender minorities in Acadia, touching on the intersections of language, the body and gendered violence and oppression, issues she hopes to dismantle in Acadia and everywhere else. Audrey has been involved professionally and as a volunteer in the community sector with feminist organizations in her home province for a few years now, serving on the Coalition's Board of Directors since 2021; having been employed at the Regroupement féministe du Nouveau-Brunswick and the South East Sexual Assault Centre; and having participated in the Alliance des femmes de la francophonie canadienne organizing committee dedicated to the organization of a first national forum on francophobia and masculinism held in Ottawa in September 2022.
