Megan Cotnam-Kappel is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa and holds the Research Chair on the Digital Well-being of Franco-Ontarian Communities. Her work takes a critical perspective on digital technology in education and focuses on digital literacy and artificial intelligence, particularly in Francophone minority contexts. Her research addresses digital and linguistic inequalities, young people’s agency online, and teacher education, with the aim of better understanding the conditions that enable Francophone communities to participate, create, and thrive in digital spaces.
