Jason Luckerhoff is a full professor in the Department of Literature and Social Communication at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), director of the journal Minorités linguistiques et société/Linguistic Minorities and Society (MLS-LMS), co-director of the FRQSC-funded Laboratoire interdisciplinaire de recherche sur l'enseignement supérieur (LIRES), co-investigator of the Chaire de recherche du Québec sur la démocratie, le vivre-ensemble et les valeurs communes and co-investigator of the Chaire de recherche du Québec sur la découvrabilité des contenus scientifiques en français. He is also founder and director of the collection Culture et publics at Presses de l'Université du Québec (with Anik Meunier). He founded and edited the journals Approches inductives (with François Guillemette) and Enjeux et société (with Normand Labrie and François Guillemette) from 2012 to 2021. Trained in communications (B.A., M.A. and Ph.D.), public administration (DESS and MAP), law (short program) and strategy (management training), Jason Luckerhoff is also a Chartered Administrator (Adm. A.) and a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). He contributed to the development of the new French Ontario University in Toronto, first as part of the planning committee (2017), then as part of the first management team until being loaned as Vice-Rector, Program and Knowledge Development and member of the Governance Council for one year in 2019-2020. Subsequently, he worked with various organizations that contribute to the vitality and sustainability of the Canadian Francophonie, such as the ACUFC, the RCCFC and the AUF. Previously, Jason Luckerhoff promoted and encouraged bilingualism within the Trudeau Foundation, the organization that awards Canada's most prestigious doctoral fellowships, first as a fellow, then as vice-chair of the board and president of the Alumni Association. He was also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, where language rights were discussed.
