E.-Martin Meunier
Since 2019, E.-Martin Meunier is the Director of the Collège des chaires de recherche sur le monde francophone de l’Université d’Ottawa (CCRMF) (CCRMF). The CCRMF brings together 10 research chairs dedicated to the many dimensions of the Ontario, Canadian and international Francophonie. He is a Full Professor at the School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies and holds the Research Chair on Québec, Canadian francophone and cultural changes at the University of Ottawa. His research interests range from the sociology of Quebec society, to the sociology of religion, to the social and historical analysis of the Canadian Francophonie. Author of 8 books and more than 75 scientific contributions in various journals and collectives, he co-directs (with Marie-Claude Thifault) the 21st – Society, History, and Cultures series at the University of Ottawa Press. Since 2016, he has been a foreign associate member of the Groupe Société Religions et Laïcité (École pratique des Hautes études/CNRS, Paris). He is a member of the scientific committees of the journals Archives des sciences sociales des religions, Sociologies, Studies in Religion | Sciences Religieuses and Recherches sociographiques.
