Patricia Lamarre
Patricia Lamarre is a professor at the University of Montreal. As a sociolinguist, her research focuses on the changing language context within Quebec. More specifically, she has conducted studies and published on the bilingual and plurilingual practices of young Montrealers, the quest for bilingualism among Quebec’s Anglophone community and the implementation of community learning centers (CLCs), an innovative approach to community schooling in the English school sector of Quebec.
