Presentation and background
The Research Data Centre at the Canadian Institute for Research on Linguistic Minorities (RDC – CIRLM) offers all the regular RDC services, in addition to specialized in work dealing with issues related to the development of Official Language Minority Communities (OLMC) in Canada. Launched in 2007 at the Université de Moncton, the CIRLM has managed to bring together several partners to ensure the Centre’s funding for the first three years of it existence. These partners are:
- Université de Moncton
- Canadian Institute for Research on Public Policy and Public Administration (CIRPPPA)
- Centre de recherche et de développement en éducation (CRDE)
- Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS)
- Société santé en français (SSF)
- Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick (CFMNB)
- Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN)
All of these partners have a vested interest in improving their knowledge of the situation and stakes involved in OLMC and in mobilising resources to further research on OLMC.
